With sadness and deep gratitude, we share that Valley Saints Church held its final Sunday service on October 11, 2026.

After prayer and honest discussion, we—Ralph, Ron and Randy—unanimously concluded that bringing Valley Saints to an orderly close is the faithful next step.

Over recent months, the departure of families, our pastor’s resignation, and further losses among our congregation and volunteers have left us without enough people to sustain the many responsibilities of our ministry.

This decision is ours as elders. No member of the congregation should feel responsible for this closure or wonder whether volunteering more, giving more, or doing something differently would have changed the outcome..

Thank you for making Valley Saints a church family. Your prayers, generosity, friendship, and service have meant so much. Whether you arrived early to set up, cared for our children, welcomed guests, served refreshments, worked behind the scenes, or quietly encouraged someone who was hurting—you helped make this community what it was.

We want to offer a special thank-you to our Worship Leader, Jade Crawley, whose inspiring worship leadership has meant so much to our church family. Jade, thank you for sharing your gifts with us and helping us draw closer to God through song.

We also want to thank St. Helena Elementary School for allowing us to gather in its beautiful auditorium. Having such a welcoming place to worship has been a blessing, and we sincerely appreciate the school’s hospitality and support.

Closing the church does not erase the good we have shared. The friendships, prayers, lessons, and care for one another remain part of our lives.

At our final service, Ron spoke about Trusting God When It’s Hard. That message speaks to where we find ourselves now: we can grieve, wish things had turned out differently, and still trust God to guide our next steps.

As elders, we will take responsibility for the remaining work of winding down the church and share practical updates as needed.
